Don’t fight: celebrate

In the last month, a few people were killed just because they were on the street with the T-shirt of their football team. Apparently, they got into a fight with fans from another team and ended up dead.

I think that we don’t have to fight because of we’re from different teams. We have to live football in peace and be happy of the fact that Colombia is finally going to a World Cup after 15 years.

In this video they show how people in Colombia are scared of football fans who kill people just because of their T-shirt color. It also shows a good joke around a tragic subject.

Zlatan and Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo.Zlatan_crop_north

Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic are two of the best soccer players in the world. They are going to play for a spot in the FIFA World Cup and it is unbelievable that one of this players will miss Brazil next year.

Zlatan plays for Paris Saint Germaine and for Sweden, his country. Zlatan usually does amazing goals and he is the star of both of his teams and one of the best strikers in the world.

Ronaldo plays for Real Madrid and for Portugal, and although his country team has a lot of good players, they don’t play really good together. In less than a few weeks, we will see how to giants will fight each other for what it is just one spot in the most important soccer tournament.

Beyond doubt, both of them are incredible players. Ibrahimovic is, in my opinion, the best middle striker in the moment. But still, Cristiano is now living what I think is the best moment in his entire career. After all, I really believe that Ronaldo deserves to go to the World Cup.

Dishonest win

270473_heroa

This article talks about the BBVA Lof Spain. Real Madrid, in the previous round of the League, caused controversy since the match was influenced by the referee in favor of the white club. The merengue club made a poor match and Elche, their rival team, with much worse players than the Real Madrid players, played a great match. Elche actually tied the match in the 87 minute after the poor march of the merengue Club. The best player was Cristiano Ronaldo since he made the first goal and the second, which was the goal that generated more controversy. Carlos Sanchez, Elche player, was sure that it was not a penalty but Pepe, from Real Madrid, said that he really was a victim of the foul which produced the penalty.

I’m big fan of Real Madrid but my opinion as a fan is that the club made a poor match and they won the match with help from the referee. Pepe is a great player but he exaggerates in all the matches, and in this one especially made a horror movie because the non-existent foul of Carlos Sanchez. I think that a great player like Pepe doesn’t have to do these things, even if his team is losing the match by 100 goals. He has to act with respect and more when he is playing for an important institution. I was happy because my team won, but it was an incomplete satisfaction because as a fan I know that my team won the match without being honest. It is embarrassing to win like that and more playing against a bad team and you being at the top of the soccer world.

Arjen Robben scores a goal in a final

In this video they show how one of the best players of the world scores a goal in the UEFA Champions League final. The goal was in the 89th minute of the match, giving him the championship.

Robben used to be a player who didn’t score in any final he play in. For example, the World Cup final with Netherlands against Spain, or the UCL final of 2012…

Finally he did score in a final. Not only that, but he gave the title to his team, Bayern Munich.

Amazing goal against Germany

This goal was scored in 1990 in the group phase of Italy’s World Cup. This was the first time Colombia went to an event of this sort. It was important because we needed a tie to qualify but in the last minute, Germany scored a goal. With this result Colombia would not pass. But then, Freddie Rincon scored and Colombia did qualify!

I find this video is really amazing. First, because I am a very big fan of soccer so when I watch this video I feel very excited and happy. I think that this goal can get excited any person from Colombia and of course, anyone who likes soccer. Second, this video could be the symbol of soccer and even the representation of sports in Colombia, because the match seemed to be lost, but it turned around in the final minute.

Ronaldinho aims for the Libertadores

18copa-articleLarge

His full name is Ronaldo De Asis Moreira but he is also known as Ronaldinho. He is now 33 years old and he is a legend of soccer: in all teams that he has ever been, he was the best.

He always won a lot of trophies, but now in his actual club he wants to win one of the most important trophies of the world: the “Copa Libertadores” of South America.

Against Newell’s Old Boys, his team lost the first game in Argentina. But Ronaldinho never gives up; they beat them in penalties in the second match. Now, the final is against Olimpia, team which has won this competition 3 times before. Ronaldinho won a lot of things in Europe but he said that he wants to win this trophy because it isvery important to him and his career.

There will be two matches: the first one will be in Paraguay and then, in Brazil. The favorite is Ronaldinho’s club Atletico Mineiro. I hope Ronaldinho wins this trophy because he is amazing. I like very much how he plays. A lot of people said that he doesn’t have his magic anymore but I think he still is fantastic and he will win that important trophy to end his career.

Rogerio Ceni is awesome

Rogerio Ceni is a Brazilian goalkeeper. He is 40 years old, and he scored 112 goals in his life, which is amazing for a goalkeeper. He plays in Sao Paulo, and he was Brazil´s goalkeeper some years before.

I think that it is really amazing when a goalkeeper scores 112 goals. That shows that the goalkeepers not only have to be in the area, but they also can score goals and that is admirable.

Football is changing permanently, so it is important that the players discover new styles of play.  That way, football will improve in all the matches.

The conclusion is that he is one of the most important goalkeepers of the history.  He is a different goalkeeper. He is more special that the other players. Rogerio Ceni is a goalkeeper who scored more goals than some players who play in the position of midfielders or even in the front. That is just awesome.

Colombia’s weak defensive core

image (4)It is accurate to say that the key to be successful in a football tournament is a stable base of defenders. Colombia may not have the best one, but it does it’s job.

Colombia’s defensive core can be seen as a weak one due to its players. Mario Yepes and Luis Perea might not be the fastest and they can be overcame by a skillful and fast attacker. But Colombia’s manager, Jose Nestor Pekerman, has solved this serious problem with two magnificent players: Pablo Armero and Camilo Zuñiga. They have the fastness and skill to recover any ball and collaborate to initiate one of the most amazing and successful counterattack any National Team would fear today.

However, this might be a risk because Colombia just has a few players to replace these two should they get injured. Some people say Arias is the perfect candidate if Zuñiga gets hurt; or if Armero does, Zuñiga can change sides and give Arias his place, but I still think Pekerman has to realize he’s wasting great players like Zapata, Balanta and Aquivaldo, who are persistent in their respective teams and deserve a place at Colombia’s starting 11. With the World Cup coming up, he might have to watch for Colombian world class players to ensure a good performance in the tournament.

Goal celebration FX

This video is a very funny special effects video from soccer players celebrations aafter scoring a goal. It was watched 555.000 times in only three days! That’s a lot of views. Also it has a lot of likes, not only for the funny stuff but also for the creativity of the person who made this video. Hope you enjoy it.

Even though the celebrations aren’t real, they look fantastic. They’re very creative. Soccer players should be “proud” of this video.

Brooklyn Beckham

brooklyn beckham

David Beckham’s son Brooklyn is trying to play soccer as his father. He is training soccer in Manchester United but he is not a paid player with a contract; he is just training. Brooklyn wants to be a professional soccer player like his father. Since he was young he plays soccer, aiming to one day become a good soccer player.

I think he’ll probably be one of the best players in the world, not only because of his father. but because he has always been surrounded by soccer players.

Play football or study?

6104208-a-close-up-of-some-books-on-green-grass-with-a-soccer-ball-and-fall-leaves

The article talks about the problem with sports and academic responsibilities at the same time. The text explains that there is a big problem with the boys in high schools with soccer and their high school competition. These boys aren’t paying attention to the classes because they are only focusing on their soccer training and nothing else.

Kids have to make a decision about the sport that they practice and their study. In addition, Hussey says in the article that it is a difficult situation because kids are only managing to do one thing at a time. The solution that the author tries to propose is to figure out a way that kids can do both.

This is a big problem because, in my opinion, boys cannot do both. We cannot play soccer perfectly and have high scores at school. I think that we should focus on the soccer after finishing high school, but not while in it. The best solution to this problem is to encourage boys to be excited about soccer but focus on their study.

For the color of a T-shirt

Soccer should be all about scoring in the other net while giving us a moment of entertainment and happiness. But these “fans” make the sport look like it is all about fighting and killing each other just for the color of their shirt. Think about it: they are all playing the same sport, with the same goals. The only difference is that they use shirts with different colors. So what this video shows is just plain dumb.

Pekerman transformed the Colombian team

I think this video is very interesting, because it shows what Pekerman did with the Colombia football team.

Pekerman made a big change in Colombia. For a lot of reasons, we are in a World Cup again. But before Pekerman arrived to Colombia, Colombia’s team wasn’t any good. There were very good soccer players but they didn’t have the connection that they have now. Now you can see that they are a family.

The video is about the Colombian soccer team. Pekerman, told the players a lot of things to inspire them.  Now you can see a different group. The conclusion I get with the video is that the team has changed in a lot of things. There’s no doubt that Pekerman has been very special with the players.

A big Colombian smile

This was in the last football match of Colombia in Barranquilla for qualifying for the world cup. At the end of the match, the players were very happy because it was the classification for the world cup Brazil 2014. Pablo Armero’s defense was one of the principal factors. This player is characterized by his humor and smile. In the video, you can see he is dancing with some particular crazy moves that probably he invented.

Soccer is giving us happy moments, now that Colombia is going through bad moments inside of the country. When Colombia plays, the whole country is paralyzed, most of the people want to see the team with the family, in peace, drinking some beer but in harmony, and supporting the team. When Colombia plays everyone forgets about their problems and celebrate. We are together when they play.

In the video you can see one very big family of soccer players representing the whole country. They are doing one particular thing that most Colombian people do: celebrating their happiness and smiling. In the last part of the video, when the reporter asks some questions to Pablo Armero, he is giving us one big sincere smile: the smile that soccer is giving to Colombians in the difficult times inside the country.

Neymar is going to make history

Untitled-1

Neymar, the new star of Barcelona, was interviewed by ‘La Liga World’. The player of Barcelona talked about how he was feeling in the club.

In the interview he was asked about how it feels to play with Messi and in Barcelona. They asked him too some questions about playing in his national team, Brazil, and in his old team Santos FC.

Neymar is one of the best players in the world. He is young, he wants to make history at the club and I think he is going to do it.

People don’t like Medina

This video is a fake Davivienda’s commercial that is showing why Stefan Medina is creating a big polemic with his calling to the national football team. Most part of Colombians doesn’t like him for what he did.

Stefan Medina’s calling to the Colombian team is creating a big polemic because they think that Stefan doesn’t have enough level to be in the Colombian team. There are better players than him around the world that are playing in European Leagues.

In my opinion Stefan Medina did not use the opportunities that Pekerman gave to him and because of that, the majority Colombians say that Stefan should not be in the Colombian team.

Rooney is back

Soccer player Wayne Rooney seems to have recovered his form after scoring 2 beautiful goals on the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday and an amazing free kick goal from 25 yards out on the Premier League fixture that was disputed last Saturday against Crystal Palace.

At the age of 27 Rooney is not as fast as he used to be but he has gained lots of experience what seems to me more important now that he is playing in a deeper position on the upper field which makes him needed of good vision for goal scoring assists and log distance shots and skills what makes him a big trouble for other teams defenders.

Wayne Rooney is a crucial player at Manchester United and I personally think David Moyes, former manager at Manchester United would make a mistake if he doesn’t put Wayne on the first team squad.

Despite the rumors that had gone all over the sports news during the transfer window season that Wayne wasn’t happy playing for the Red Devils it seems that he couldn’t be happier.

Joga Bonito Ronaldinho

This youtube video shows a feat of football skill performed by Ronaldinho.

I think it’s great because Ronaldinho doesn’t allow the ball to touch the ground for an extended period of time. It shows him juggling the ball using his head and feet. It also shows him breaking in boots which is usually an uncomfortable process and he makes it look easy.

His body language is relaxed and he shows he enjoys playing with the ball.

This video captures Ronaldinho at his peak. It shows a moment in time when he was the best football player in the world.

I believe that anyone with an interest in football can appreciate this video and his talent at that time.
