The Impossible Game: Dare to play ?

The impossible game is a side-scrolling platform game developed by FlukeDude and published by GripGames. The game is about a square which needs to jump blocks and spikes to reach the end of levels. It can be found both for XBOX and for PlayStation, through the virtual store. There are five levels of the main game, one of which is a variant, interestingly named after their music. They are (in their respective order) Fire Aura, Original Level, Chaoz Fantasy, Heaven and Phazd.

In my opinion, not a lot of people would take the time to play this sort of game because it confronts them with their own issues. A lot of things have gotten easier: easier to get, easier to beat, easier to buy, easier to find, etc., and this kind of thing is what has gotten our society into such a terrible situation: people that get angry when the Internet is slow, who give up on a search on Internet if they don’t find what they’re looking for quickly, who give up when playing a videogame that is way too difficult… which would be the case here.

However, there are still people that like challenges. If you are one of those and want to try it out, now you know the game. Enjoy it, if you want.

Buffon vs. Casillas

1382514190_extras_noticia_foton_7_1

These two goalkeepers have being facing each other for over ten years now. However, they are very good friends.

The first time that they faced each other was in 2002-03 in the Champions League semi-finals. After that, they have faced each other 12 more times. In the meantime, both of them have won a lot of awards and titles. Buffon won 34 individual awards and 14 titles while Casillas won 20 individual awards and 21 trophies.

In 2003 Buffon was voted the best goalkeeper in the world. Ten years later, the roles were reversed and Casillas was ahead of Buffon. This award has been shared by them: Casillas has won 5 and Buffon has won 4.

I think that these legends of football stand for what a good football player should be: fair both inside and outside of the field.

Let’s fix things

White Lion is an awesome group and this is an awesome song. It has beautiful lyrics and an outstanding guitar player, who I really look up to. Besides, the song is a protest against the world of 1985. It says that children are the ones who need to fix everything that adults have screwed up.

Jim Carrey rejects his own film

r-KICK-ASS-2-REVIEW-large570

Recently the known comedian and actor Jim Carrey decided not to participate in the premier of his latest movie “Kick Ass 2” arguing that: “I did KickAss a month ago before Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence… My apologies to other involved with the film, Iam not ashamed of it but recent events have coasted a change in my heart”.

From my point of view, this reaction is positive to the USA community. The movie definitely shows plenty of violent scenes that might invite people to accept bad behavior within communities. After all the tragedies that have occurred in the United States, especially those regarding violence in schools and streets and gun control policies, Jim Carrey’s reaction shows people that it might not be such a good idea to accept violence, even if it is  fictional.

Save me

This song talks about how intensely someone can feel love for someone else. It is not a very memorable song for the British, but the meaning of the song is interesting. When Freddie says “It started off so well” it really grasps the attention of the audience.

I think Freddie demonstrates that nowadays, people are not willing to give everything for love. The way of experiencing love has changed with time: now, people are not as romantic as they were before, and in this song Freddie reminds us of that.

I recommend you to enjoy the song and try to go back in time and feel love in a different way.

Juanes the herbalist

This video is about a song written and interpreted by Juanes. This song comes from the album P.A.R.C.E. It was launched in 2010 and it was one of the most listen to songs that year, to the point that it was played at the opening of the World Cup 2010. Regardless of the fact that it is in Spanish, South Africans danced the song.

When I see and listen to this song, I feel something strange. This music video has a higher level of interpretation and is very difficult to sing. Juanes deserves great admiration from all Colombians.

Far Cry 2

This video shows all the action that you can encounter when playing this game of action. Also, it explains a little bit of the plot. The main goal is to kill the Chacal, a dangerous gun smuggler.

I think that this thriller is a very good one because it really traps you into the story and makes you live it as if it were a part of your own life. It is not boring at all: the whole time you get action scenes, which is interesting and entertaining for most people.

You’ll be in my heart

This song is awesome because it makes me remember my childhood, when I used to watch the movie Tarzan. I like several scenes from the movie and the soundtrack. It makes me think of peace and freedom, like being in another world with another kind of language.

Not so sweet

This is a hilarious video about a guy who gets rejected after marriage proposal at a mall.

I think this is a fake viral video used as a marketing strategy by the chocolate company Cadbury. You can see in the train passing by that it says “Not so sweet”, which is a new campaign to promote their new chocolates. Ironically, it would also be a perfect description of the situation.

Whether it’s fake or not, it’s funny. Just watch the video and decide yourself.

I found you

I think this song is great because it has a great rhythm. This is a tropical song which is one of my favorite genres. I also like the instruments used for the melody. The lyrics talk about a man in love that found the girl of his life. She is like an angel sent by God who will give color and meaning to his life.  He wants to be with her forever.

Every time I listen to this song, I imagine myself in a beautiful beach dancing with a pretty girl, having fun, totally happy. It gives me joy, which is why I like the lyrics very much.
